Blind Cleaning

Below is a list of all window coverings we service. Most blinds are simply removed and cleaned on site. Any questions please refer to our Faqs Page

• Cellular (Honeycomb) Blinds

These cannot be cleaned well by hand. Ultrasonic cleansing is used.

• Faux Wood Blinds

These coverings are a fantastic way to control the light in your home with beauty of real, natural wood. They are easier to clean, they last longer, and quite often are just more visually pleasing, but don't let that fool you. They too need a conscientious maintenance program. 

• Mini Blinds

Mini Blinds (whether metal, vinyl, aluminum, plastic, etc.) are designed to outlast other types of venetian blinds. Don't let them corrode or bend out of place from ill-treatment or weak upkeep. They are susceptible to moisture and salt in the air. And they hold dust like its their best friend. Breaking the two apart may be the most traumatic experience of your housecleaning life! 

• Natural Wood Blinds

These expand if too much moisture comes in contact with them. And their grainy surface, while something to admire visually, can make damp wiping of them a vain pursuit.

• Panel Track Coverings

Removed from their tracks, these covering are best maintained using ultrasonic cleaning.

• Roller Shades

Known for their practical beauty and textured patterns roman blinds often need regular maintenance.

• Roman Blinds

These should be regularly maintained. Let there beauty brighten the room without drawing unneeded attention due to lack of care.

• Shutters

We use gentle chemicals and/or oils for a very thorough clean.

• Solar Shades

These shades can collect dust quickly and, because of the textured nature of most of them, little is usually done to rid them of unsightly stains. We can help.

• Venetian or Persian Blinds

Extreme care must be given. Leave it to the pros!

• Vertical Blinds

Vertical Blinds (vinyl, aluminum, & PVC): Vertical blinds can also be a challenge to clean if you don't possess the right equipment and know-how. They are tall and short at the same time. They are often made out of fabric. Plastic ones yellow so, when you show them some much-needed attention, you may find that it is difficult to tell whether you are cleaning dirt off of them or just wiping an area of such yellowing. 

• Other Fabric Blinds

Fabric blinds must be take to our shop for a special cleaning. We get them back to you quickly- usually with a next day or 2 day turnaround. 

• All Other Window Coverings

Window coverings can collect dust quicker than work-out equipment in the closet. Put your blinds on our regular maintenance program to be sure that they are not neglected.





*Remember: Complete restoration is not always possible, even with this most superior system. Please remember regular maintenance is often required. Often window coverings go for too long, maybe even a period of years, before they are cleaned but not before irreversible damage has already occurred. Periodic dusting, though helpful is no substitue for a professional cleaning.
